Exchanges and Returns

Kandalaa House of Jewellery offers a hassle-free 15-day exchange of the products in your online order. Please refer to the following terms and conditions to understand how our exchanges and returns work.

  • Your period of exchange or return starts from the moment your order gets delivered.
  • The 15-day exchange or return is applicable only for online purchases made within India. 
  • Any returns after 15 days will not be eligible for a full refund.
  • If you are dissatisfied with the product, you may choose to exchange it for another product. However, any additional costs incurred must be paid by you.
  • The products that you return should be accompanied by the Original Product Certificate and Original/Copy of the Invoice, in order to be eligible for a full refund or exchange. However, for items that are returned post 15 days, the Original Product Certificate and Original/Copy of the Invoice are not mandatory.
  • Any products returned to us within 15 days of purchase without the Original Product Certificate will be sent to the lab for recertification. In such cases, the shipping cost and the cost of recertification must be borne by the customer.

Eligibility for Returns and Refunds

  • Any products that we receive as part of the exchange/return within 15 days of purchase will be handed over to our Quality Assurance team. The team will carefully check the returned items for any wear, alteration or damages. If any wear, alteration or damages are found, kindly note that your products will not be eligible for a refund.
  • In the case of altered products, if the alteration is made by jewellers other than Kandalaa House of Jewellery, kindly note that the product will not be eligible for a full refund, even if it is returned within the 15-day window.
  • Any Customized Jewellery, which includes personalized or engraved products or made according to specific instructions from the customer will not be eligible for return and refund.

How to Return

If you choose to return your order to Kandalaa House of Jewellery, we recommend that you follow the instructions below:

  • Get in touch with our Customer Service team via email or phone to express your desire to return the product and the reason for the same.
  • If our team find your reason valid, they will then assist you in finding the right method of return shipping.
  • Pack the products securely and handover them to the Courier. Make sure that the return address label is legible and correct.
  • Once we receive the products, we will check them for damages or wear and process the refund accordingly.

Refund

The refunds for eligible products will be credited to the payment source within 7 working days. If you opt for a store credit, the amount will be credited to your Kandalaa wallet and you can use it to purchase another product of your choosing. The store credit will have a validity of one year.

Here are some points to note regarding refunds

  • If the returned product has been purchased at a discounted price under any promotion, including Coupon, Discount or Promo Code, then we will only refund the discounted price as mentioned in the invoice.
  • If you choose to use to exchange the returned product for any other product, any additional costs incurred must be paid by you to confirm and dispatch the order.
  • We reserve the right to determine the refund or exchange price of the returned product based on the findings of our quality inspection.

We reserve the right to modify and change the terms and conditions for exchanges, returns and refunds as and when we deem it necessary, without prior notice.

As a customer, we expect you to fully agree and accept and not dispute the decisions made by Kandalaa House of Jewellery.

Any disputes arising will come under Bangalore-India jurisdiction.
